What is ESCRS ?
The 35th European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS) meeting in Lisbon has covered a large number of topics in front of more than 9,000 delegates from 118 countries.
Innovation is a permanent state of mind at Théa
Théa has three pillars which are reflected in the company ethos – “Driving Innovation, Education and Proximity with ophthalmologist to improve eye health”.
The ESCRS was the opportunity for Théa to underline its mission: cover all the needs of the ophthalmologists by providing them with products in all therapeutic classes and developing educational courses dedicated for Young Ophthalmologists (YOs).
During ESCRS, this was highlighted over several events organized by Théa:
• Experts meeting to share practices
• Symposia about “Simplified management of the cataract patient” and “Optimising the ocular surface for surgery”
• Visit of the dry lab, one of the tangible actions done by THEA for YOs to develop surgical skills
Thea is committed to supporting Ophthalmic professionals and to making a difference in the eye health of the people that use our products.
